Bad Love

Time and again you may have come across an ad in the classifieds that promises to cure anything from HIV to unemployment. Dubious as you may be, can you really resist being captivated by a magic whose words alone tempt as provocatively as ‘Want Big Penis?’

The power of an enviable phallus aside, trepidation naturally ensues when a magician of that ilk attempts curing a sickly-twitching girl by having a gang of louts pin her to the ground. Descending before her to lay a ritualistic hand on her forehead, he whispers ominously until the brawl finally abates. Then there was laughter.

You’d be forgiven for wondering what the devil was going, especially since the ritual was entirely sanctioned by the whimpering girl. Her personal crisis had become so convoluted that her husband was forced, just moments before, to resist relieving the terror in her rolling eyes. Instead her family handed her welfare over, and collectively invested their faith in a man understood only as their ‘spiritual healer’.

Now there's a charming man!

Now there's a charming man!

The corridors of spiritual power are littered with charlatans and megalomaniacs. One couple seeking to end their marital woes paid handsomely for a special milk-bath which, bizarrely, did actually bring them closer as they resolved never to be taken for such a ride again. In a craft allegedly unsuited to common sense, the family hesitated little before begging this warlock to diagnose their daughter.

After all, he knew the devil intimately:

That it’s fashioned from a ‘smokeless fire’ and cast as a halo escaping three-dimensional space and time. Demons are thus afforded great agility to travel vast distances in mere seconds, and a life-span 10-13 times the average human’s. Some species like the ‘Ifreet’ and ‘Marida’ can even shape-shift into physical forms, effectively crossing the dimensional-divide to harm you, yet is akin to you by also finding consciousness in a soul.

Rebuff superstition if it suits you as, even in daily life, one never truly distinguishes who arrives to help from those who’ve come to help themselves but, faced with a daughter slipping into a diabolic catatonia, do you know any better?

Call me a sceptic, I believe Jinni exist but a story like this warrants personal experience – seeing is believing…

As I recall,Yusuf, we have had numerous discussions on this very subject; the tale is based on your personal experience. The separating veil between dimensions is wearing thin…as most things do with time. The very apparent “move towards a higher level of conciousnes”, the “opening of the 3rd Eye” is in fact enabling us to tap into other dimensions. Best we unveil & open our eyes quickly; we have so much more to learn & experience. Conquer the fear of this other existence…remember the time when the Group Areas Act was abolished…
